![]() I have processed 140,000+ photographs at Flickr. Yet, the replacement does not have the same capabilities, which causes huge issues. If something breaks with it or it stops working, then it won't be fixed. The Old Uploadr (3.2.1) is NOT working for me.Īs noted above, the old uploader was discontinued nearly ten years ago in 2009 and is no longer supported. Or the new Flickr Auto Uploadr, mentioned here? : Which uploader might you be referring to? The old and abandoned one, 3.2.1? Looking through other recent threads, I do not see anyone who stated it is definitely working for him.Īnd the standalone Uploadr is working again. ![]() It is a great relief and very much appreciated. Many thanks to whoever has resolved this problem. ![]() The good news is that functionality has been restored and the standalone Uploadr is working again. I'm also mystified as to what may have changed, in these last few hours, that has given rise to this and would appreciate a more analytical response from Flickr. MabelAmber️®***Pluto5339***Incognito: That's a great shame (as well as being uncaring) because, as Robert Owens says, its features are superior. ![]() I think a staff member suggested this about another log-in issue That does not seem likely, Uploadr 3.2.1 was abandoned (= no longer supported by Flickr) as far back as 2009. I do hope that this will soon be resolved in a way that enables this familiar and hitherto reliable Flickr Uploadr to function again. It appears to upload the image data for the first image (I see the data upload volume and speed on my network meter) but, when it tries to wrap up the image ("processing") before moving to the next image, it seems to get stuck and can't complete. However, it now seems to be failing at the processing stage. I was using it successfully until a few hours ago. I, too, use and prefer the standalone Uploadr 3.2.1 (which is still available via many websites such as flickr-uploadr.en./ or /Flickr-Uploadr/3000-12941_4-196456.html). I think a staff member suggested this about another log-in issue (or maybe it was it this one). I suspect this has something to do with the authorization changing to oauth. kb/flickr-for-desktop/windows-sln25996.html The "new" one I just downloaded that actually uploaded photographs is Flickr Uploadr Beta version 1.0.1.292s. Windows 7 box, fwiw.įWIW, I was using Uploadr 3.2.1. Is this intended? Have I missed something? This is not convenient/comfortable for me.Īny guidance is appreciated. It appears this new program requires me to upload the images to Flickr and then make all those changes on the site. I set all my tags, albums, names, and descriptions on my desktop before I upload. It is uploading my images, but I am unable to edit anything beforehand. I was logged in via the web site, but Uploadr didn't see it. ![]() When I attempted to log back in, I was in some weird loop of going to Flickr. After several attempts, I logged out of Uploadr. Uploadr would not communicate with Flickr. Today, I attempted to upload a batch of images. Write a testimonial - bugįor years I have used Uploadr on my Pro account with no issues.
